This year’s summer hit hailing from Marvel, and their sole cinematic venture for 2024, shifts the focus to Jackman’s character in the newest trailer release. It unveils a Wolverine who has retreated from the life of a hero after an undefined tragedy. In the film, Deadpool brings him back to safeguard the world and the ones he values. Plus, there’s an intriguing twist involving the TVA, the organization from Loki.
It’s evidently clear from the latest trailer that the movie is fully leveraging its R rating — marking a first for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This trailer doesn’t stop at a single F-bomb — it launches several. Even the film’s marketing catchphrase — “LFG” — is a cleverly disguised F-bomb acronym (which both Reynolds and Jackman unabashedly use in full in the trailer).
