Epic Games has recently announced the return of the original Fortnite, also known as OG Fortnite. After a hiatus of over four years, and anticipatory teases from the gaming company, the first chapter of the game is scheduled to make a comeback to the joy of many gamers.

The return of the first chapter of Fortnite is slated for Chapter 4 – Season 5. If speculative leaks can be trusted, this season is expected to be the shortest in the game’s history, spanning only a month. Nonetheless, gamers can expect a month filled with continuous map modifications, beginning with Season 5 and culminating in Season X.

The Resumption Date of OG Fortnite?

Friday, November 3 marks the return of the OG Fortnite. With just six days left to the start of the new season, anticipation is at its peak. This presents the perfect chance for newcomers to experience the original Fortnite, while long-term players are eager to revisit the game’s earlier characteristics.

Epic Games disclosed the release date for Chapter 1 on X (formerly Twitter), also unveiling a few more details. The developers have assured players that some recent movement mechanics, like sprinting and mantling, will continue to be part of the gameplay.

A video featuring some classic moments from Chapter 1 – Season 5 has been shared by the creators of Fortnite. At present, details regarding the upcoming season are scarce. Nonetheless, the Zero Build mode is likely to be retained given its popularity amongst gamers.

Players can enjoy the OG Fortnite for at least one month. Based on reliable leaks, the season will finish in early December, succeeded immediately by Chapter 5. The subsequent season of Fortnite will incorporate several Chapter 1 seasons and will conclude with another grand event, reminiscent of the October 2019 black hole incident.
